Payment and Checkout FAQ:

Q: How are payments processed on this site? A: We process payments using Shopify’s secure checkout. Depending on your location and preferences, your payment may be routed through Shopify Payments or another PCI-compliant payment gateway integrated with Shopify (for example PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other supported providers). Shopify acts as the payment platform that handles card authorization and settlement so that sensitive card data is processed in a PCI-certified environment rather than on our servers.  

Q: Are online payments secure? A: Yes. Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS — the highest industry standard for payment security — and maintains platform-level protections including TLS/SSL encryption, fraud-detection tools, and regular compliance audits. These protections extend to stores hosted on Shopify, which means payments processed through the Shopify checkout benefit from the platform’s security controls. 

Q: Will you store my full card number on your site?  A: No. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Cardholder data is encrypted and processed by Shopify (or the designated third-party gateway). If you choose to save payment information for faster checkout (for example via Shop Pay), it is stored securely by Shopify according to industry standards. 

Q: What payment methods do you accept A: We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), and accelerated/ digital wallets where available (Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We may also support PayPal and other alternative payment providers depending on availability in your region.

Q: How do refunds and chargebacks work?A: Refunds are issued through the same payment method used for purchase and processed via Shopify/your payment provider. For chargebacks, the issuing bank initiates the dispute; we work with Shopify and our payment provider to provide documentation and resolve disputes per card network rules. If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us so we can investigate promptly.  

Q: How do you protect my personal data?A: Beyond payment security, Shopify provides platform security controls and we follow privacy best practices: we use TLS/SSL encryption on all checkout pages, limit access to customer data, and rely on Shopify’s compliance and reporting tools.
